Christmas Eve 2011

Madie gets a lift.

The kids in their Christmas PJs, getting ready to ride the Polar Express.

The coveted ticket

Can I just tell you what a Polar Express fan Logan is, lets put it this way he watches it year round a couple times a day. Since Christmas he has kept his ticket and ask us all the time if he can ride it again. He would go crazy to be able to ride on a real train, maybe next year.

Everyone waiting patiently for our Christmas devotional to begin.

I have taken the kids pictures while they are sleeping since Taylor was a baby, it is one of my favorite traditions.

Jordyn was a little startled by the flash, poor girl.

Damon definitly did not enjoy the tradition.

Birthday Boys

This year on Chad's birthday Denver had a huge storm and he was working a ton of hours, so we celebrated his birthday on the 23rd which happen to be Andrew's birthday also. My family had just driven out from Utah that day to spend Christmas with us. It was also the first time Andrew had been away from his family for Christmas so we had to make it special.

Can you tell how much Hannah loves him.

The kids had picked out Chad's presents and were so excited to have him open them.

What else could you want but a box full of your favorite treats.

Devil or Angel?

Lately, Logan has been getting into a lot of mischief. He hates going to bed at night and sometimes stays up past me. He has decided that one of his favorite past times is taking out everything in the loft or coloring all over his body. But then there are times when he is so sweet and I hope he never grows up.

Football Wrap Up and Banquet

This year I had so much fun being one of the varsity football mom's. Boy, was it a lot of work but it was well worth it. I met so many wonderful ladies and loved getting to know all the boys. We did locker decorations, senior dinners, pre-game meals, lots of meetings and the banquet. What a great experience it was and how Logan and Brooklyn loved hanging out with all those boys. I will never forget the 2011 " Boys of Fall".

Tay was voted offensive player of the year by his teammates and won second team all league athlete.

My mom is so sweet, she flew in to be at Tay's banquet.

A Johnson Thanksgiving

This year for Thanksgiving we invited the whole Johnson family to Denver. We had so much fun and a lot of catching up to do, it had been five years since the last time all of us were together. We ate a lot of food, played a ton of shuffle board, had way over due family pictures taken, played in a Turkey Bowl, spent some time at Jump Street and seeing the Muppet's and ended it all with a couples night out. What fun memories, that we will cherish forever.

We were so lucky to have my sweet friend Shannon take our pictures.

We have added 9 more grand kids since the last time we took family pictures.

Hanny the Octopus

In school Hannah had to make a mask and do a report on her favorite animal. She picked the Octopus and made this mask all by her self (OK, I helped her glue on the pipe cleaners). She had to read her report wearing the mask, it was the most adorable thing ever.
The witches shoes she is holding up are decorations for the table that she made with my mom!
