Preseason

Usually, I have nothing to worry about during preseason because you can't touch the quarterback but some kids didn't get the memo. During Fridays game Taylor took a helmet to the leg and we had to take him in for x-rays because the trainer thought it was broken. Thank goodness it only turned out to be a very bad bruise and after a weekend of being pampered by the poms team, he was cleared today to play on Thursday night.

1st Day of School

Everyone was soooo ready for school to start. Usually I hate when school starts but with Tay and Whit starting 2 weeks before the little kids everyone was ready for summer to end. Hannah was so excited and kept asking every 10 minutes how much longer until it was time to go to school(she is in afternoon kindergarten). All the kids had been eagerly waiting for the first day so they could wear their new shoes. Hannah was so excited to be able to use her new backpack(yes, I suckered and bought a Tinkerbell backpack) and school supplies.
Hannah LOVESSSSS.... Tinkerbell(I know its a character but sometimes you have to surrender).
Hannah with her friend Ellen, Hannah was amazed that everyone was dressed as her twin.
Hannah was so nervous she would not even look at me once she got in line.
By the second day her nerves had calmed and she was dressed and ready for school by 7a.m. School starts for her at 12:15, it will be interesting to see how long her excitement lasts.

Back to school fashion show

One of the things I love most about Charter schools is the uniform. I have been waiting for the day to buy uniform clothes for a girl. Like other clothes, girls are just more fun than boys. I have had a blast getting all of Hannah's clothes to start school. I know my Mom and Meggie have been dying to see her in them, so here she is.........absolutely adorable.

Back To School Carnival and Teacher Meet N Greet

This past weekend our neighborhood had a back to school carnival. The kids ate a million snowcones, cotton candy and bags of popcorn. They had a blast playing games and playing on all the bounce houses. At the end they all had their faces painted. What a great way to end the summer!
Today the little kids had their meet n greet with their teachers and of course when I went to take pictures my battery was dead. So when we got home we had to at least get one shot to remember the day. They can't wait, school starts Monday.
